M42 uses Centri to tackle tricky VOCs in wastewater

M42 in Abu Dhabi needed a faster, more reliable way to screen wastewater for toxic VOCs – without the hassle of foaming, water interference or low sensitivity. Using Markes’ Centri^® system with headspace–trap, they now run 100 samples a day, covering all 32 compounds in US EPA Method 624.1. The team worked closely with Markes to fine-tune the method, using features like multi-step enrichment to hit low detection limits. With three systems running and a fourth set up for air analysis, M42 has built a streamlined, high-throughput workflow that’s ready for whatever comes next.
