Information about the service contracts that we offer to ensure your instrument is always running at peak performance

Service plans

Service agreements are available for the entire portfolio of Markes' instruments globally, offering a coverage level that is right for you.

Possible options include our full cover and routine maintenance plans, which are designed to maximise instrument uptime. Both have a fixed price, so there are no hidden costs, and both offer prioritised engineer response to get your instrument up and running again in as little time as possible.

Conditions for service agreements

Contracts can only be set up if the instrument(s) have just come out of (a) the one-year warranty period, or (b) a Markes-recognised service contract.

Should this not be the case, then a ‘pre-contract service’ may be required, for which the costs of labour and parts for rectifying any pre-existing faults are chargeable. This would usually be combined with the routine maintenance visit, in which case travel costs are not charged.
