Monitoring of ozone depleting substances and greenhouse gases – product portfolio
On-demand webinar
Webinar overview
This webinar introduces Markes’ portfolio of products for monitoring of ozone depleting substances (ODS) and halogenated greenhouse gases (GHGs). Designed for scientists monitoring ozone depleting substances and halocarbon greenhouse gases in air. Markes’ portfolio of pre-concentration instruments for GC–MS monitor key species in any environment, from ppm to sub-ppt method detection limits.
In the drive towards net-zero, there is a growing global interest in monitoring ozone-depleting substances (ODS) and halogenated greenhouse gases (GHGs). The approach to monitoring these compounds is evolving. Traditionally, it has been conducted based on local regulations, for specific industries, or at background atmospheric monitoring sites. However, in 2023, the UN Climate Change Commission recommended monitoring at the country and city levels. This recommendation has sparked extensive research, particularly in China, into how to implement ODS and GHG monitoring networks in cities and industrial locations.
To address this growing interest and new monitoring challenges, Markes offers a portfolio of pre-concentration instruments for GC–MS monitoring key species in any air environment. In this webinar, we share the features of the three products within Markes’ ODS and GHGs portfolio and demonstrate, with application data, how they enable air monitoring from ppm to sub-ppt method detection limits.
What you'll learn:
- Learn how Markes International's ODS and GHG portfolio of pre-concentration instruments is used for detecting key species from ppm to sub-ppt levels.
- Discover how the latest advancements in thermal desorption (TD) technology can enhance your monitoring capabilities and contribute to the global effort towards net zero.
- Explore application examples and comparisons of new data generated from Markes’ ODS and GHG portfolio.
