Markes International to highlight innovations in environmental monitoring at AQE
Markes International will highlight exciting developments in analytical chemistry at the Air Quality Emissions (AQE) conference taking place at Telford, UK, from 21–22 November 2018.
Centri presentation on Booth 40
On Booth 40, Markes will be exhibiting its new Centri platform for sample automation and preconcentration, which automates the sampling of VOCs and SVOCs using a variety of sampling modes – including high-capacity sorptive extraction, thermal desorption, headspace and SPME.
Markes International’s environmental specialist, Dr Jan Peter Mayser, will be delivering a talk on Thursday 22 November at 12:00 in Seminar Room 6:
- Recent advances in VOC and SVOC analysis for environmental monitoring
Markes will also be presenting a poster on the value of automated thermal desorption for testing stack emissions:
- The use of TD for analysing stationary source emissions in accordance with CEN/TS 13649: A valid alternative to traditional solvent-extraction methodology
