Each Centri® platform combines Markes’ advanced cryogen-free focusing trap technology with best-in-class robotic automation, providing flexible and rapid preconcentration of VOCs/SVOCs for GC(–MS) analysis. A range of sampling techniques can be used – headspace, solid-phase microextraction (SPME), HiSorb high-capacity sorptive extraction and thermal desorption of industry-standard size tubes. Compatible with all major brands of GC/GC–MS, the Centri product range allows you to address challenging applications, delivering exceptional performance from research and routine analysis.

A range of sampling techniques can be used:
- SPME & SPME–trap – Fast & sensitive sample extraction, with a range of fibre types offering analyte selectivity
- HiSorb™ high-capacity sorptive extraction – Robust, fully automated probe-based immersive or headspace sampling from liquids and solids.
- Headspace and Headspace–trap – Versatile sampling from solids and liquids contained in regular headspace vials.
- Thermal desorption – Using industry-standard tubes to analyse VOCs and SVOCs in air, or released from materials.
