PTFE liners for direct desorption
PTFE liners for direct desorption are designed to line stainless steel (and inert-coated) industry standard thermal desorption tubes, when working with semi-solid or solid materials that could irreversibly contaminate the tube interior. Liners protect tube walls, simplify sample weighing, allow users to see the contents, and are disposable.
- Minimises cleaning steps between analysis
- Available in two sizes: snug-fit and loose-fit
- Available in packs of 10 and 100

Overview
Snug-fit liners fit to the walls of stainless steel tubes to allow for maximum sample size and surface area. They are recommended for powdered/granular samples.
Loose-fit liners allow for a gap between the liner and the walls of stainless steel tubes. This makes them a little easier to insert and remove. They are recommended for general use and for semi-solid samples, which need to be smeared around the inside of the liner.
Note: Liners are not compatible with glass tubes or DAAMS tubes.
